A bulk cargo loading door (44) is provided in the top (30) along the uppermost portion of the central ridge (31), and two bulk unloading doors (46) are provided along the lowermost portions of the skirts (34, 36). In addition, end doors (48) are provided for moving palletized cargo into and out of the container (10). The container of this invention can be transported on a railway car of the type having an elongated central spine shaped to fit within the central recess (28) of the container (10). This railway car defines four container attachment structures (114), each of which supports the container (10) at a point well below the uppermost level of the spine. In this way, the center of gravity of the container (10) is kept low and close to the ground.

Container 1 contains an internal frame of stiffeners that reinforce container 1, making it self-supporting (Fig. 5). This frame consists of four vertical posts 17, two of which are attached to each of the side walls 2, 3. Each stand 17 is made in the form of a hollow rectangular element. The upper ends of the uprights 17 are up to 7 and form the corresponding upper fasteners - elements 18 .. The lower ends of the uprights 17 form the bottom fasteners - elements 19. The fasteners 18, 19 serve to install spring-loaded locks securing the container or railway carriage, or on another container. In each of the uprights 17 there are two lifting devices, including side load-lifting cavities 20, which are used to lift the container with a crane. Thus, the pillars 17 serve to strengthen and half-hold the side walls 2, 3, to transfer the load through fasteners — elements 18, 19 — to the supporting surfaces below, and also to transfer the load through side load-lifting devices with recesses 20 lifting device.
The container case contains diagonal beams 21 extending from the posts 17 (Fig. 2) and attached to the side walls 2, 3. These diagonal - beams 21 serve to further strengthen and support the side walls 2,3. A large number of arches 22 are attached to the roof 7 in order to strengthen it (Fig. 5). The two outermost arches 22 are rigidly attached to the uprights 17, and the three inner arches 22 are directly attached to the roof 7. The container is equipped with doors and hatches. Upper - loading hatch 28 for dry goods is located along the length of the upper part of the protrusion 12 krshsh. The container has doors 30, each of which is filled in a corresponding end wall 4, 5 and provides access to the interior of the container above the perforated overlap. These doors 30 are hinged to their respective end walls and must ensure water tightness when closing. .
Air ducts — air ducts 24, 25 and the internal cavity of the beam — beam 26 are connected with pipelines 31 extending across each end of the container and are provided with air nozzles 32 pointing downward. These serve to direct air from the internal cavity of the ducts of the boxes 24, 25 and the beam to the inside container. In turn, the conduits 31 are designed to be connected to an air source. For example, the ducts 31 and the beam can be connected to an injection unit (not shown) for supplying heated dry air to dry the contents of the container.
Each end of the container 1 has rounded corners 33, providing a smooth rounded transition between the end walls 4, 5, side walls 2, 3 and 7. These rounded corners provide effective surfaces that are smooth from an aerodynamic point of view. which reduce air turbulence and air resistance during container transport. In addition, each of the sides 15, - 16 forms a corresponding recess-recess 34 for the wheels of the car at each end. These recesses 34 serve to dL reduce the turbulence of the air flow around the carriages of a railway carriage on which the container is transported, thereby reducing air resistance and associated losses.
The width of the container between the side walls 2, 3 may be 2.4 m. The height of the container between the lowest side of the sides 15, 16 and the uppermost part of the protrusion 12 is 3.12 m. The height of the central protrusion of the roof 23 is 76 cm and - central niche 11 - also 76 cm. The container spacing between the end walls 4, 5 can be 13.7 m and between the posts 17 - 10.7 m. The container is designed for lightweight materials. The fasteners - elements 45 - are designed as projections on the base of the container, interacting with a depression in the bearing surface 43 of the car or component 18. FIG. 4 shows the method of installation of the container on the railway car 35, while the ridge beam 36 enters the recess of the central niche 11.
When the container 1 is installed on the wagon 35, each of the lower fasteners of the elements 19 is located on the respective supporting surface 43 of the corresponding beam so that the weight of the container and its contents is transferred to the eagon 35 through the supporting surfaces 43. Each of the fastening elements 45 passes up to the appropriate fastener, thereby firmly fixed the container on the car 35 (Fig. 6). The flanges 44 serve to facilitate additional alignment of the container on the "wagon 35."

The container is designed so that an empty container can be installed on the loaded container and then transported along the rails. The interaction of the protrusion and the recess must be sufficiently dense to avoid large aerodynamic drag at the junction of the two containers.
